Meet "Rochester" our own little
Cheeky Raccoon - Proud as punch with his catch from the local stream.
"Rochester" is available as a pattern or kit (with everything you need to
complete this cute little character). Created in luxurious Alpaca,
coloured with fabric pens (or airbrushing) Rochester can be
fully jointed, although we have chosen to fix his legs so that he can
sit up proudly - his little paws are in "Sassy" fabric and are wired for
that realistic look and so that he can be posed holding his glittering
fish. |
GREAT NEWS FOR
WORKSHOP
ENTHUSIASTS!
| Our very dear friend GERI WILLIAMS from Washington USA will again be
visiting us in JUNE of 2009 and we will be conducting a workshop
program built around her visit. Those of you who have experienced a
workshop with Geri will be keen to expand their knowledge with her gentle
and fun method of teaching and her wonderful finished pieces of
Artwork. Geri specializes in needlefelting and has created an
amazing NEW technique for adding armiture to her characters. We
will be offering Three workshops with Geri, hosted by
Kympatti Bears. |

BEGINNERS WORKSHOP: 4 HOURS (approx)
- 25th June 2009. - 9.30am start.
$65.00 (all materials supplied -
substantial morning tea supplied)
This will be a combined workshop with Patti and Geri. Students
will create a lovely needlefelted flower pincushion and Patti will help
the student to create two beautiful Vintage style hat pins to display in
your flower. This workshop is designed to teach the student the
varying techniques used as a basis to more advanced
projects. |

"LITTLE OLLIE" A CIRCUS ELEPHANT: 5
HOURS (approx) - 26th June 2009. - 9.30am start

Sitting on his own little colourful drum is this adorable little
Elephant - completely needlefelted and with a jointed neck, with his
beaded felt fabric frill and pointed cap. "Ollie" has his wired trunk
held high to catch all of the good luck he
can. |

"THE ROOSEVELT BEAR TEDDY G": 1 DAY
5 HOURS (approx) - 27th June - Saturday 9.30am start and 28th
June Sunday 12.30pm start. $230.00 (all materials supplied
- morning tea and light lunch supplied)
A very classical bear, this 81/2 inch tall
bear is completely poseable with armiture using Geri's own special tools
and technique. he is beautifully dressed in a shirt, tie, waistcoat,
trowsers, shoes and long dress coat all made with pure wool felt.
Geri will be providing a partially prepared kit so that each student will
be able to concentrate on the finer finishing points and to pay special
attention to the the techniques used to create the head, paws feet
and shoes and some of the
clothing. |
