10.00-4.00pm The 2010 competition theme is
“ALL CREATURES GREAT and SMALL”
& “A PINK THEME” The competition will be open
to all bear makers. BUT only bears entered into the Open and Novice
section will be judged by a panel of judges and a written critique sheet
given. All artist entries will be
judged but there will be no
critique sheet given. As we are supporting Toowoomba
Cancer Research and in particular breast cancer we are having a Special
category called ALL CREATURES PINK. This will be a People’s Choice
Award and so participating entrants are reminded that the voting will be
by appearance only. We hope you will use your imagination and turn out
some spectacular entrants which in some way support the PINK THEME. DIAMOND TEDDY
AWARD. WILL BE VOTED ON BY THE
JUDGES IN ALL ENTRIES IN
SECTIONS 1,2, & 3 OF THE COMPETITION CONDITIONS
OF ENTRY 1.
All
entries
must be delivered to:

entries are to be received no
later than Friday 1st June 2010. 2.
Critters have to be made
by the entrant. 3.
Entry fees are non
refundable 4.
All accessories to be
securely attached to the entry 5.
Any makers’
identification and/or label must be covered with
tape. 6.
Judges decision will be
final. 7.
All care will be taken
when handling entries. 8.
The organisers will take
no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any entries.
Responsibility for insurance rests with the
owner. 9.
All entries are to
remain on display until 4pm, 13th June 2010 when they may be
collected on presentation of a receipt. 10.
If postal entries are to
be returned by post, please enclose a prepaid postal, postbag or
sufficient funds for return of entry. 11.
Please enclose entry fee
with bear. Bear or critter of any
size completely designed and made by the entrant and can be dressed.
Bear or Critter
makers who have been making for more than 1 year. Item can be made from a
commercial pattern with a card crediting the designer. Critter can
be of any size and may be dressed. Please attach a card to any Bear
or Critter designed by the entrant. This is for new Bear or
Critter makers and can be of any size. GENEROUS MYSTERY PRIZES TO BE AWARDED FOR
