Competition Entry Form
A Competition with a difference IN 2008
After 7 years of conducting the competition in the traditional way we felt like having a change.
Therefore our competition in each category for 2008 WILL BE A PEOPLES CHOICE” and will run as follows:
Guests will be issued with coloured tickets that correspond with boxes that will be placed in front of each category.
Guests will choose their favourite entrant and write the number on the slip and place in the box provided.
Trophies and encouragement awards will be announced at 3.30pm
As this is a public voting system we will not be issuing critique sheets.
Participating entrants are reminded that the voting will be by appearance only, therefore we hope you will use your imagination and turn out some spectacular entrants.
CLASSES OF ENTRANTS
Artists
Bears completely designed and made by the entrant
Open
Bear makers who have been making bears for more than 1 year. Bears can be made from commercial patterns.
Novice
Bear makers who have been making bears for less than 1 year.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. All entries must be delivered to:
Kympatti BearsAustralia, 35 Bermuda St, Broadbeach Waters. Qld 4218
All entries are to be received no later than Friday 6th June 2008.
Entry fees are non refundable.
2. Bears have to be made by the entrant.
3. All accessories to be securely attached to the bear
4. Any makers’ identification label must be covered with tape.
5. Judges decision will be final.
6. All care will be taken when handling entries.
7. The organisers will take no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any entries. Responsibility for insurance rests with the owner.
8. All entries are to remain on display until 4pm, 8th June 2008 when they may be collected on presentation of a receipt.
9. If postal entries are to be returned by post, please enclose a prepaid postpak, postbag or sufficient funds for return of entry.
10. Please enclose entry fee with bear.
11. Only one entry per category
