ON THE FABULOUS GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA

Venue: GOLD COAST CONVENTION CENTRE

Date: Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th June 2011 Time: 10.00-4.00pm (Both Days).

"THE DIAMOND TEDDY AWARD". --- Will be voted on by the Judges in all entries in sections 1,2,& 3 of the competition.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. All entries must be delivered to:
Kympatti Bears Australia
35 Bermuda St,
Broadbeach Waters

All entries are to be received no later than Wednesday 1st June 2011.
2. Critters must be made by the entrant.
3. Entry fees are non refundable
4. All accessories to be securely attached to the entry
5. Any makers identification and/or label must be covered with tape.
6. Judges decision will be final.
7. All care will be taken when handling entries.
8. The organisers will take no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any entries. Responsibility for insurance rests with the owner.
9. All entries are to remain on display until 3.00pm, 12th June 2011 when they may be collected on presentation of a receipt.
10. If postal entries are to be returned by post, please enclose a prepaid postal, postbag or sufficient funds for return of entry.
11. Please enclose entry fee with bear.

SECTIONS

1. ARTISTS - JUDGED BY EYE APPEAL ONLY - NO CRITIQUE SHEET
Will be judged by a panel of Judges-Appearance Only
Bear or critter of any size completely designed and made by the entrant and can be dressed. – PRIZES AWARDED

2. OPEN – CRITIQUE SHEET GIVEN
2A - UNDER 6inch
2B – OVER 6inch
Bear or Critter makers who have been making for more than 1 year. Item can be made from a commercial pattern with a card crediting the designer. Critter can be of any size and may be dressed. Please attach a card to any Bear or Critter designed by the entrant.

3. NOVICE – CRITIQUE SHEET GIVEN
3A – UNDER 6inch
3B - OVER 6inch
This is for new Bear or Critter makers and can be of any size. Item can be made from a commercial pattern with a card crediting the designer.

4. SPECIAL CATEGORY – OPEN TO ALL BEAR ARTISTS

"ROMANCE OF THE MARDI GRAS"
Best Dressed or Themed Bears & Critters - This will be ”People’s Choice Awards”.
AND WILL BE VOTED ON BY THE VISITORS

5. SPECIAL CATEGORY – OPEN TO ALL DOLL ARTISTS

"ROMANCE OF THE MARDI GRAS"
This will be a ”People’s Choice Award”. AND WILL BE VOTED ON BY THE VISITORS.
