The organizers of the FAIR at KYMPATTI BEARS AUSTRALIA will again host a range of workshops by acclaimed Artists to be held at the Broadbeach based Kympatti Studios. This information will also be available in January 2011.

GOOD NEWS FROM THE GOLD COAST.
At long last we have managed to secure a suitable venue for the 2011 GOLD COAST INTERNATIONAL TEDDYBEAR FAIR that will accommodate our wonderfully talented Teddy Bear, Doll and Craft Artists and for them to be able to promote their creations at a prestige venue.
The problem for us has always been one of economics and availability. Though being on the fabulous Gold Coast has always thrown us into the market amongst those well-heeled organizations who like to hold their Annual Conventions in the region.
Anyway the outcome has proved well-worth the hassles and our 2011 Event will be held in the very prestigious GOLD COAST EXHIBITION & CONVENTION CENTRE on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2011. (In Queensland this is the Queens Birthday Holiday Weekend). In the heart of Broadbeach, the Centre is adjacent to Jupiters Casino and is joined to the Casino by a covered overhead walkway. In brief, the Event will be a TWO day Fair open to the Public from 10am – 4pm each day. Throughout the two days, we hope that Traders will take advantage of the mini workshop and demonstration program to promote their craft. We are currently working on a fabulous WORKSHOP program for the week following the Fair to be held at the Kympatti Studio.
The Centre has a lengthy frontage to the Highway with loads of advertising potential. Parking is beneath the building with elevator access to the hall for the Visitors. For our Traders, there is a loading bay allowing trolley access directly into the venue. Traders will be advised directions closer to the event.
There is plenty of Accommodation within easy walking distance, plus a large number of Shops, Restaurants and Eateries across the highway in the Broadbeach mall. We are negotiating with Jupiters Hotel to obtain our usual reduced room rate and hopefully we will have news on this aspect by the beginning of the year. However, there is more than enough alternative accommodation at very reasonable rates.
We are currently preparing information for all Visitors and Traders and will have this up on our web site shortly. In the meantime we will answer all queries via email, fax and phone.
